yummy food

These days I always complained to my husband that there was no yummy food I could find. Even though there are some chinese restaurants around me, I do not feel they are delicious as they are almost cantonese flavour. So which kind of thing makes me to think about all the time. exactly it ought to be real chinese food, especially cooked by my mom. My mom was an executive chef, maybe it is a reason why I am a little picky on food. Once you have tasted my mom's cooking, I am sure you will feel good. But I am not good at cooking, I have never cooked until I came to calgary, my husband either. when we came here, the issue presented that either I or my husband should try to make meal for ourselves. Unfortunately, it turned to my duty. From then on, I have to look for some tips from the internet which can help me to make food. I ought to admit that those tips are very useful, which describe every step precisely. Though it is a short time that I learn cooking, my husband feels I am talented of cooking. However, I don't enjoy cooking. It always takes me an hour or more to make the meal and half an hour to do washdish. Can you imagine how long I do have my meal?only 10min or less. It is crazy and obviously I hate to waste time on cooking. Then I tried to look for the restaurant that make yummy food. The consequence I think you can get. There is no real traditional chinese food here and even expensive. I have to make meal by myself.

mother's day is coming

In the past week, I always heard and saw many information about mother's day. For example, when I passed by a store which is located on the center street close to the c-train station, there were many plunches of flower as a gift for mother which reminded everyone that mother's day would be come, while the host of the broadcast were encourging more people to concern their mom and spent much more time in accompanying with their mom such as having a dinner together, seeing a film and going to a concert something like that . Surfing the internet, I still can find there are plenty of discussions on what gift mom will love and how we do concern our mom.
To my home country,mother's day is not a traditional festival but it is becoming more popular in the past 5 years. Before the day coming, many department stores will releases special items and flower shops will prepare to import much more carnation. Meanwhile, young guys would like to choose some gifts for their mom and have a dinner together even though they are busying doing business sometimes.
yesterday, one of my classmates told me she was missing her mom very much. It is no doubt that when someone is far away from home,the home-sick will become much more than before.
Tonight I will call my mom, I wanna say love to her and I know my mom is missing me as well.
